POSITION SUMMARY:
The Partnership Marketing (PM) team is a major driver of revenue and creator of future revenue visibility for Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE). The PM team is tasked with delivering industry-leading value to partners and protecting and growing CSE’s partnership revenue. This role will focus on:
- Managing and inspiring a team of Account Executives and Coordinators that celebrates collaboration and innovative thinking; keeping team members highly motivated and serving as a constant culture builder
- Working closely with Director, Partnership Marketing on personalized development plans for each team members’ professional growth
- Consistently strategizing for business and relationship growth; working with Partnership Strategy team to develop creative and customized solutions for partner growth, renewal, and upsell opportunities
- Leading renewal conversations and aiming to grow investment from our current partners; capitalizing on opportunities to upsell and understand how to convert them successfully
- Having a strong understanding of CSE revenue goals and help develop paths to reach targets, as well as a strong understanding of the specific business objectives of each partner
- Overseeing assigned partners’ executions across all CSE properties (Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, Vancouver Warriors, and Seattle Surge)
- Actively tracking value delivery throughout partnership terms and ensuring delivery on all contractual benefits and more
- Maintaining a strong presence at Canucks and Warriors home games and travelling as necessary for relationship building and value delivery
- Establishing clear, quick, and open lines of communication with partners and key stakeholders, demonstrating a responsiveness to their needs, and asking questions to drive their business forward
- Prioritizing face-to-face opportunities with partners and maintaining a solution-oriented approach to problem solving and managing feedback
- Fostering a creative environment that inspires new ideas, programs, and activations, with a strong understanding of how to effectively curate them to our partners
- Actively monitoring all elements of the sports, entertainment, leisure, and service industries for inspiration from best practices that can be utilized in our business

YOU HAVE:
- At least three years of experience in Partnership Activation, Partnership Sales, or related sports marketing fields
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as marketing or business management
- Experience planning and coordinating events, conferences, and/or promotions
- Experience in leading or supporting sales conversations
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within an organization
- Dynamic presentation skills and storytelling capabilities
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends throughout hockey and lacrosse seasons
- A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
- Onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver
