We are recruiting for part-time, game night staff for the Orlando Magic, Osceola Magic, and Orlando Solar Bears. Whether you are a college student, a teacher with a flexible schedule, someone looking to re-enter the workforce, or someone just looking for additional income, our part-time, event roles could be perfect for you.

What our Part-Time hiring process is like:

While every position is different, our part-time hiring process is typically a two-step process, sometimes more depending on the nature of the role. After you apply, your resume will be reviewed by our hiring manager for that particular role. Those candidates who are selected to move forward will be contacted for onsite interviews the week of August 13th.

After interviews have been conducted, candidates whom the hiring manager selected will be contacted by our Talent Acquisition team. Candidates who are not selected to move forward will be contacted via email. We would love to call 100% of the candidates, however we typically interview well over 250 candidates during this part-time hiring week, and we want to give every candidate the decision as soon as possible.

The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation is looking for friendly, high-energy, motivated sellers to join the OMYF team for the 2023-24 Orlando Magic Season. The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation is giving you the opportunity to become a part-time, seasonal team member where you can bring your passion for fundraising for the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation 50/50 raffle to every Magic home game played at the KIa Center.

What the position will be responsible for:

  • Passionate about interacting and connecting with fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 raffle program.
  • Accountable through accurate handling of the sales and distribution of raffle.
  • Responsive and knowledgeable about the program, Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, the mission of the Foundation to answer fan questions about the 50/50 raffle.
  • Show your dedication to the Orlando Magic and Orlando Magic Youth Foundation by meeting and exceeding minimum sales goals as specified by Coordinator.
  • Show your enthusiasm about the program with each fan interaction and sale.
  • Be innovative and creative with sales techniques.
  • Outgoing and Self-motivated with high energy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What is required for the role:

  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the listed job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of enthusiasm while interacting with the Magic fan base.
  • Hours: Approximately 5 hours at each Orlando Magic Home Game played at Amway Center (Two preseason games and 42 regular season home games). Your dedication is important and attendance at 21 games is required.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk throughout the arena.
