The Osceola Magic Video Coordinator will support the Osceola Magic Basketball Operations Department from September 2024 to April 2025. This person will focus on all video related tasks for the Osceola Magic coaching staff as well as strategic and logistical support for the basketball operations department. We are seeking a committed teammate with curiosity, humility, a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role will report directly to the Osceola Magic Head Coach.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage all video related to the Osceola Magic coaching staff and players.
  • Provide technical support for the operation of basketball video functions.
  • Live code Osceola Magic games in SportsCode for distribution to coaches and players.
  • Assist with practice plan creation and distribution.
  • Create and maintain statistical databases for the coaching staff.
  • Prepare projects and proposals for adjustments to team strategy.
  • Create and present scouting reports to players on upcoming opponents.
  • Other duties as assigned by head coach and general manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have at least 3 seasons of high school basketball assistant or head coach experience OR at least 1 season of college basketball graduate assistant, video coordinator, player development coach, director of basketball operations or assistant coach OR at least 1 season of NBA, G League or overseas video coordinator, player development coach or assistant coach required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in SportsCode.
  • Must possess high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.
  • Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on the changing priorities of the department.
  • Position is based in Kissimmee, Florida, and most of the work will be conducted in person.
