Summary & Primary Functions:
The Mission of the Partnership Marketing team is to maintain and grow partnership revenue and increase the organization’s efficiency and profitability.
The Partnership Marketing team contributes to profit growth by delivering contracted value, finding value add opportunities, and building strong relationships. The primary measurement for the Partnership Marketing and Partnership Sales teams, collectively, is revenue generation and the ability to find partners to fund and support specific initiatives of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
This position’s main priority will be enhancing communication and increasing efficiency for the Partnership Marketing/Operations teams. The Partnership Marketing Fellow will help each teammate deliver contracted value and build strong relationships with our partners by trafficking traditional media assets, executing events and activations at a high level, and other tasks detailed below.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing concourse activation internal/external communication & credentialing
- Breakfast & Happy Hour in the Room Events
- Away Game Watch Parties
- Meet & Greets
- Chalk Talks
- Assistance with Signing Sessions
- Manage and traffic IPTV signage inventory
- Schedule, manage, and traffic e-mail blast inclusions
- Schedule, manage, and traffic radio spots
- Schedule and traffic web & mobile app ads/takeovers
In addition to the duties described above, the Partnership Marketing Fellow will also participate in the Penguins’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership, and the ability to develop skills critical for the Fellow’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Fellow and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the year-long program.
