About the Role

The Chicago Bears are looking for part-time team members to support our Team Operations Department during 2025 Training Camp. This position will span approximately 4-5 weeks from mid-July to mid-August in Lake Forest, Illinois. This position is intended for students seeking a paid (hourly) part-time summer position. Team Logistics is responsible for the planning, execution and continuous improvement for all team related logistics processes as well as other business needs for players, coaches, and football operations staff. We are looking for coachable, self-motivated individuals with a passion to handle both operational and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Training Camp Operations

  • Assist with player shuttles from the team hotel to facility
  • Assist in training camp hotel operations
  • Manage hotel inventory (Gatorade, water, snacks)
  • Assist with organizing football operations shuttles on campus during training camp
  • Assist the VIP/Friends and Family area
  • Assist football support departments as needed during practice

Team Operations

  • Help manage the TeamWorks application during training camp
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Hall of Fame Game and all-Pre-Season Games
  • Assist with day-to-day logistical needs of Team Logistics Department
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Logistics Department

Team Travel

  • Assist in the planning of team travel during training camp
  • Assist with player travel reporting to training camp
  • Prepare TSA set-up and documentation for team departures
  • Help organize and distribute player / staff per diem

Home Game Operations

  • Assist with administration and distribution of coach, player and football operations parking at Soldier Field
  • Assist with the player bus to and from Soldier Field for our home game
  • Manage compliance with all team specs while at home hotel
  • Assist Events staff with player introductions

Qualifications

  • Experience working with a college athletics department
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Visio)
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively to work on multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to work with many personalities
  • Experience with problem solving and/or customer service
  • Experience with team travel/advance prep is preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in varying weather conditions, climb up and down stairs, and lift heavy objects (at least 30 lbs.)

What We Offer 

Competitive Industry Pay 

The Team Logistics Associate is a full-time temporary position. This position is an HOURLY role. The expected hourly rate for this role is $16.50/per hour. Please note, due to job function, regular overtime (paid as time-and-a-half) is expected.
