We are recruiting for part-time, game night staff for the Orlando Magic, Osceola Magic, and Orlando Solar Bears. What our Part-Time hiring process is like:

While every position is different, our part-time hiring process is typically a two-step process, sometimes more depending on the nature of the role. After you apply, your resume will be reviewed by our hiring manager for that particular role.

After interviews have been conducted, candidates whom the hiring manager selected will be contacted by our Talent Acquisition team. Candidates who are not selected to move forward will be contacted via email. We would love to call 100% of the candidates, however we typically interview well over 250 candidates during this part-time hiring week, and we want to give every candidate the decision as soon as possible.

A quick summary about the Part-Time Box Office Representative role:

The Representative will provide legendary customer service to all patrons of Kia Center and Camping World Stadium by performing individual ticket sales and accounting duties for the Kia Center Box Office.

What the position will be responsible for:

  • Sell tickets in person at box office window.
  • Determine and collect appropriate fees and issue tickets.
  • Process and verify credit card purchases.
  • Assist with preparation of sales reports as assigned.
  • Compile data and other reports as needed.
  • Perform filing and other general clerical duties.
  • Provide customer service to patrons with ticketing issues, including lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
  • Monitor, process, and mail advance ticket orders for single and multi-date events.
  • Answer box office telephone and respond to customer questions regarding events, ticket operations, and assist patrons in finding seat locations on seating diagrams.
  • Well-versed on all Kia Center offerings; Premium amenities, suites, loges, clubs, restaurants, hospitality areas, etc.
  • Operate Ticketmaster ticketing system programs including TM Host & FanUser.
  • Stay current on events scheduled for Kia Center and Camping World Stadium.
  • Provide general information to the public.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What is required for the role:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • One year of customer service, ticket sales, or clerical related work experience required.
  • Experience working with large cash volume is required.
  • Computerized ticketing experience; Ticketmaster and/or Archtics preferred.
  • Fluent Spanish speaker desired, but not required.
