About the role

We’re looking for a passionate disability advocate to support the Club in ensuring that we have safe, inclusive and accessible facilities for our disabled supporters. We are committed to ensuring our disabled fans have a brilliant match day experience and this role will be critical in improving and maintaining that.

It will be essential to build and maintain relationships with our Disabled Supporters Association to deliver a collaborative approach to the improvement of facilities and services within the stadium. Acting as a ‘champion’ for our disabled fans you will ensure that the Premier League’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standards are at the forefront of decision making.

Your impact

You will be a passionate advocate for people with disabilities with an extensive understanding of the practical application of the 2010 Equality Act, with recent formal Disability Awareness Training.

You will have extensive knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults with a in depth understanding of, and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and how they relate to the role of the Disability Access Officer and the wider EDI Club strategy.

Operational experience connected to major events and knowledge of football stadiums would be highly desirable, as would experience of working with football supporters.

Match day working will be a critical element of this role.
