THE POSITION

The Coordinator, Game Presentation will join our high energy staff and become a leader in the sports and entertainment industry. Reporting to the Manager, Game Presentation; the Coordinator, Game Presentation’s responsibilities will be primarily focused on all aspects of Calgary Flames game presentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Coordinate the organization, production, and execution of all assets associated with Calgary Flames Game Presentation.
Write and produce all game scripts utilizing a digital scripting software;
Serve as Floor Director for all Calgary Flames home pre-season, regular season and playoff games;
Work with other departments (i.e. Broadcast/ Production, Sponsorship, Ticketing, Marketing and Community Relations) to help activate department objectives;
Aid in developing an entertaining game night experience for the hockey fans of Calgary and Southern Alberta;
Produce and support on Flames TV and Game Presentation video shoots and production elements;
Oversee game day staffing for Calgary Flames home games.
Available to work scheduled home games or events including evenings, weekends and holidays; as well as being available to support the various clubs under the CSEC banner;
Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices;
All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management or related field;
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and supportive working relationships;
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, be self-directed, work independently and handle creative direction/feedback;
Work well in a collaborative group environment, be a flexible and reliable team player (Both within own department and within company as a whole);
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach, kneel and lift;
Must have the ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed;
Strong knowledge of hockey;
Experience working in the entertainment industry is preferred.
