THE POSITION

The Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation is currently looking for an energetic and outgoing individual to fill the role of In-Game Host for the Calgary Stampeders. Reporting to the Manager, Game Presentation, the In-Game Host is responsible for hosting and executing in-game content, working alongside the Game Presentation team to deliver a first-class entertainment experience at all Calgary Stampeders home games.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting to the Manager, Game Presentation, the In-Game Host will be primarily responsible for the following but not limited to:

Host and execute in-game content as outlined by the Game Presentation department.
Engage fans to participate in live promotions and contests.
Provide an entertaining and exciting voice to the Calgary Stampeders, working alongside a co-host.
Conduct live interviews with special guests, celebrities, team alumni, etc.
Host other Stampeders events as required.
All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

Prior experience with public speaking and performing in a hosting capacity.
Strong knowledge of the Calgary Stampeders and the CFL.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and on camera.
Ability to multitask and work quickly and efficiently in a team environment;
Ability to improvise and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Flexibility in schedule is important to this role as the chosen candidate will be required to work nights and weekends.
