JOB PURPOSE
The club are seeking a Steward Development and Recruitment Administrator to help support the safety department with the recruitment for casual and alternative workforce. Through the onboarding process, you will have to ensure compliance measures are adhered to and you will assist with workforce training.
The role will entail administration support to the safety team with a focus on exceptional customer service being provided in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Casual and Alternative Worker Administration
To coordinate and prepare assessment centre and training session resources, including room preparation, documentation and invites to candidates
Attend assessment centres and inductions when required
To complete onboarding & casual worker paperwork always ensuring accuracy
Ensure casual worker trackers are up to date and any relevant systems are updated.
To work with the payroll administrator to ensure casuals are onboarded
To liaise with managers on their casual recruitment and alternative worker requirements, supporting them through the process where needed
To adhere to Safer Recruitment processes
To support the HR & Safeguarding Compliance Administrator with right to work and DBS checks
To ensure that process are always GDPR compliant
Recruitment Administration
Carry out an initial sift on the recruitment platform to identify suitable candidates
Invite candidates to assessment centres
Carry out initial Right to Work checks at Assessment Centre
Support with Safer Recruitment processes, including processing Right to Work checks and DBS verification
To complete onboarding process for new stewards from application to induction
Ensure casual worker tracker is kept up to date and relevant systems are updated.
Alongside the Steward Manager team, keep the new steward’s tracker up to date with new employee’s information including start dates and any pre-employment checks carried out

Skills & Experience
Experience of working in an administrative or support role
Experience of, or a familiarity with, the full HR/ employee lifecycle, particularly with casual workforce
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive data whilst maintaining GDPR standards
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise effectively with excellent organisational skills
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
Excellent communication skills
