Job Purpose
The Social Media Content Creator will form a key part of the wider Social Media team within the Club by providing high quality and engaging content to sit across Tottenham Hotspur’s Club channels.
Under the guidance of the Social Media Video Manager, help take responsibility for the creation of social media video content in the Club’s strategy to reach the targets in growth and engagement, and meet the Club’s wider digital objectives.
The production department operates out of multiple sites, including the Training Centre in Enfield, where the Content Creator will be based. The Club’s internal social media and video production departments are split across Lilywhite House, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the Training centre.
As a Social Media Content Creator, you will join a growing content and communications team and under the guidance of the Club’s Social Media Video Manager you will work closely with the Club’s social media team to help produce social first video content for our Men’s First Team channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
This role will contribute to and execute the agreed video strategies across all major social platforms, domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of social media platforms and the way in which video can be exploited in order to drive growth.
The content is seen across all Club digital and social platforms, and may be broadcast globally, shown within the stadium on a match day as well as syndicated to partners and external media.
Candidates will require an understanding of all social media platforms and have a keen eye and knowledge at what works across them all, both together and individually.
Due to the nature of this role you may be required to work outside of office hours includeing evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You may be required to work at a number of Men’s First Team matches and selected other fixtures.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to deliver short-form video content under the guidance of the Social Media Video Manager.
Create engaging and shareable made-for-social content, whether planned and structured or quick and reactive.
Create video content via mobile for TikTok, Instagram Stories, Reels, Snapchat and other social media platforms as required.
Ensure and maintain a high level of QC across all Tottenham Hotspur’s social media video content.
Work closely with the Social Media Video Manager to contribute to the overall goals of social media team.
Work closely with the rest of the Social Media Team to ensure platforms are busy and engaging and that all channels are covered with high-quality content.

Skills And Experience
Experience working within video editing for a sports organisation.
Understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and what works on TikTok is key.
Experience creating content for a range of social media platforms, ideally within sport / football.
Video production skills suitable for a variety of platforms; the knowledge of how to create engaging mobile content for TikTok, Reels and Instagram Stories, alongside traditional video production skills.
Good knowledge of editing techniques and formats.
Interest in latest content trends and techniques
Experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro.
Experienced user of motion graphics in video content.
Sound editorial judgement.
A finger on the pulse in terms of industry trends and emerging platforms and ability to identify opportunities to capitalize and create engaging content.
Strong eye for visuals.
Flexible with working hours and happy to work evenings and unsociable hours.
Full driving licence required and ideally own transport.
