Position Summary:
As Game Operations Area Supervisors, you will assist in various aspects of coordinating special events and game operations. This includes but is not limited to, the responsibilities outlined below. This role is part-time and hourly. Game Operations Area Supervisors report to the Director of Operations, Planning, and Integration.
Core Functions:
- Monitoring all elements within the Area Supervisor’s assigned locations for home games and large-scale events, placing an emphasis on concessions, security/first aid, guest service and cleaning elements.
- Utilizing the 24/7 Communicator application to report and document any issues or incidents in the Area Supervisor’s assigned locations.
- Assuring the assigned area is in good condition, reporting any issues for items that are in disrepair to the Command Center, and following up to make sure issues get resolved.
- Being a visible and approachable resource for fans, utilizing our Difference Makers customer service philosophy in every interaction with fans.
- Monitoring to make sure safety codes are being maintained in the assigned area throughout the course of the event.
- Monitoring all technical equipment (TVs/audio) and building equipment (elevators/escalators) to ensure all equipment is operational and running as expected.
- Interacting frequently with supervisors of the stadium entities, engaging them for problem resolution, and working together as a team for the success of the event.
- Identifying potential issues and working to resolve them before they impact the fans or an event.
- Reporting major issues immediately to the Command Center.
- Supporting other Buccaneers staff in assigned areas.
- Attending training as required to cultivate a high standard of safety and quality in event execution procedures.
- Completing Supervisor training in our Difference Makers customer service program.
Skills & Abilities:
- Availability for all 10 home games including one training session before each season.
- The ability to receive assignments, quickly comprehend them and immediately execute with a high level of accuracy.
- Professionalism in every interaction in person and through all forms of correspondence.
- Attentiveness to detail throughout all assignments and transactions.
- A work ethic that is collaborative, innovative, resourceful, and durable.
- The dependability to handle responsibilities autonomously and find resolution in varied circumstances.
- Clear communication with superiors and colleagues throughout all assignments, especially when assisting with urgent situations.
- The aptitudes to effectively read and analyze documents including timelines and diagrams.
- Required tools: Smart phone.
Experience & Education:
- Two (2) years of experience in Hospitality, Event Production, Sports Management or Recreation.
- Knowledge of Football and Stadiums is a plus.
Work Environment:
- The Company is a professional, fast paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:
- Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required; required to work all home games; may have to work occasional holidays.
- Sitting, standing, working outside for extended periods of time
- Physical Demands: HIGH; this position calls for a great deal of physical exertion
