Reports To: Director of Facility Security Status: Part-Time/Hourly

Core Functions

  • Protect the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ property and staff against loss, damage and injury by maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Conduct random and regular building and perimeter patrols
  • Control access at vehicle gates and at building entrances
  • Monitor access control, alarm system and video cameras
  • Observe for signs of crime, disorder or other irregularities
  • Report irregularities, inform violators of policy and procedures, evict violators and trespassers, and notify appropriate authorities as necessary
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing results as needed in a timely fashion and obtain assistance if and when needed
  • Assist guests at One Buc Place by controlling traffic and directing pedestrians
  • Prepare detailed reports of suspicious incidents by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Maintain the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
  • Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calls for repairs; evaluation of new equipment and techniques


Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to execute the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Security procedures
  • Ability to document significant incidents in written format
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism


Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Proven work experience in law enforcement or a comparable position required
  • Customer service experience preferred

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Ability to operate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems (training will be provided


Work Environment

The company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions may include:

  • Extended evening, and weekend work hours
  • May be required to work all home games
  • May have to work occasional holidays
  • Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines
  • Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
  • Sitting, standing, and working with hands for extended periods of time
  • Lifting more than 20 pounds may be required
