Basic Function: Provide leadership and administrative support for the Houston Texans Cheerleaders program and assist with some aspects of Game Presentation planning and execution.
Job Function (Duties & Responsibilities):
Cheerleader Program
- Collaborate on the development, management and execution of marketing strategies which support goals for the Houston Texans (“Club”) Cheerleaders program, including Cheerleader Tryouts and Prep Classes, Junior Cheerleaders, All-Stars, Alumni events, etc. Responsibilities include coordinating marketing efforts, promotional planning, organizing creative assets and event operations/logistics.
- Lead the appearance booking process for Cheerleaders, including coordination with requesting party, scheduling of staff, booking security as needed, communication between all parties and satisfactory fulfillment of the appearance. External appearance booking also requires negotiation of rights and fees, execution of contract and remittance of payment.
- Collaborate with digital/content team to brainstorm ideas and capture content when needed for all social media accounts promoting the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.
- Manage the HTC portion of the website ensuring all content is up to date, requesting and/or finalizing updates when needed, and collaborating with all parties on updates or changes.
- Assist with accounting efforts including submission and approval of invoices and tracking expenses against budget.
- Assist with program inventory, uniforms and equipment including maintaining storage, distribution, tracking and communicating information when needed.
- Communicate with vendors about services or products as requested, including assisting with development of contracts, purchase orders and order forms as needed.
- Verify and approve time sheets for all Cheerleaders and program staff, coordinate with payroll department as needed.
- Assist with the creation of gameday schedules, packing lists and scheduling of gameday staff, as assigned.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of Cheerleader training sessions and photo shoots.
- Attend all home games as assigned with duties to include, but not limited to, managing gameday staff, supporting locker room operations, escorting assigned Cheerleader(s), managing supplies and equipment, capturing social content, and assisting with gameday program/performance logistics.
Game Presentation
- Work with other members of the Game Presentation department to support, research, and develop overall Game Presentation plans, concepts, and theme specific elements for all Houston Texans home games and Lone Star Sports and Entertainment (“LSSE”) games and events.
- Oversee pre-gameday logistics for in-stadium DJ(s) including communication, timelines, Texans signature events.
- Coordinate some Game Presentation elements for Houston Texans home games and signature events including but not limited to Talent Requests, Audio Requests, and rehearsal logistics.
- Monitor multiple inboxes such as Cheer Programs, Cheer Appearance, HTC Alumni, and Game Presentation Entertainment and respond to inquiries.
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Cheerleader Programs or Game Presentation Manager.

- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software applications.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in sports, entertainment, event management, marketing or related field required.
