The Role and What You’ll Do:

The CAD Technician is responsible for managing TKO’s event floor plans end-to-end. This includes creating and editing CAD drawings, assisting with moves/adds/changes to seat allocations, designing loading dock and TV compound layouts, forming back of house plans, as well as proposals for ancillary events such as press conferences and weigh ins, and maintaining all related databases and software systems.

Candidates must have a strong work ethic, balancing strategic thinking and analytical skills with results orientation and excellent problem-solving skills in a highly energetic and fast paced environment.

  • Create and update CAD drawings and create all site plan layouts for both UFC and WWE events.
  • Help develop and maintain a standard site plan layouts for all UFC and WWE events to help accelerate the site plan development process
  • Manages space allocations, and utility locations on floor plans in Workplace software
  • Serves as a primary interface and point of contact with relevant teams all space-related needs and inquiries
  • Provides metrics, and analyzes data related to facility requirements and physical space needs
  • Maintains database building and floor plans
  • Participates in meetings and discussions about space requirements
  • Creates dashboards and reports as needed
  • Ensure that safety standards are maintained on every plan and understand code for each city
  • Help develop and maintain a standard site plan layout for all UFC and WWE events to help accelerate the site plan development process
  • Conduct site visits as needed to gather data needed to complete the site plans for shows
  • Identify and communicate potential design problems
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You Have These:

  • Associate’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with space planning and space management
  • Live event experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Vectorworks
  • Strong proficiency with productivity software, such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience with Workplace software, such as Officespace
  • Detail oriented with a strong grasp of the overall big picture
  • Ability to identify and solve problems in an efficient manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
