Position Summary:

The Seattle Kraken are seeking a motivated, inspired & experienced sales professional with a passion for sales & sports. In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the overall growth of the ticket sales department focusing on Club Seat Sales at Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Kraken. This sales role will proactively pursue new business by targeting corporations and high net worth individuals within the greater Seattle metro, primarily focused on club seat sales and premium hospitality products. These products include but are not limited to WaFd Bank & Symetra Club Seats, Moet & Chandon Imperial Lounge, CPA Suite Rentals and Verizon Lounge Music Memberships. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales targets consistently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maximize new business revenue generation opportunities for the Seattle Kraken through year- round efforts to sell premium Club Seats.

  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and department sales goals as set by management.

  • Execute new business campaigns through multi-channel outreach, consultative sales meetings, presentations, diligent follow through and strong closing.

  • Generate revenue through multi-level prospecting, progressive cold-calling, referrals and leveraging of relationships.

  • Relentless pursuit of sales objectives.

  • Unwavering level of persistence with prospects.
  • Maintain accurate client information and log interactions within the Seattle Kraken CRM and Archtics Ticketing Systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four years of successful sales experience in sports, media, and/or direct sales is required, premium sales experience within sports, entertainment or hospitality preferred.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with SVP/VP Level Executives

  • Proven ability to identify and engage business prospects across various industries including potential new corporate and personal clients.

  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude, high level of integrity and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products, experience with Archtics, and Salesforce a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple

    projects simultaneously

Total Rewards Package:

  • Compensation:
    • In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the expected pay range for this role is $27.50 - $33.65 per hour. Actual base pay will depend on employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. o Bonus eligibility

Working Conditions:

  • Based on-site in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person.
  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.

  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
