Junior Analyst

Role Summary:

As a Junior Analyst focusing on predictive modeling, you will work closely with our analytics team to develop and deploy statistical models. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and aiding in player evaluation and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in developing and implementing predictive models.

· Collaborate with teams to integrate statistical analyses into tools for baseball decision support.

· Stay updated with data science and baseball analytics trends.

· Contribute to continuous learning and innovation within the department.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.

· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.

· Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

· Good communication skills and a passion for baseball analytics.

Nice to Haves:

· Experience with statistical modeling or sports analytics.

· Knowledge of Bayesian methods or other advanced statistical techniques.

· Master’s degree in a quantitative field.

· Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.
