Position Overview:
TheConcierge Clubhouse Manager is a key role designed to enhance the team’s operational efficiency and overall experience by combining elements of clubhouse management, concierge services, and travel coordination. This role will be essential in creating great experiences not only for players and staff, but families as well. This role is responsible for ensuring that the team’s facilities are maintained to the highest standard, providing exceptional hospitality, and managing all aspects of team travel and player movements.
Key Responsibilities:
Clubhouse Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the clubhouse, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment for players and staff.
- Coordinate the setup and breakdown of clubhouse facilities for games, practices, and special events.
- Manage inventory of clubhouse supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring timely replenishment and maintenance.
- Supervise and help staff with equipment for daily on-field activities.
Concierge and Hospitality Services:
- Provide exceptional concierge services for players and staff, including arranging personal appointments, dining reservations, and transportation needs.
- Assist with player and family accommodations, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience both at home and on the road.
- Act as a point of contact for any special requests or needs from players, coaches, and staff.
Travel Coordination:
- Plan and manage team travel, including booking transportation, accommodations, and meal arrangements.
- Coordinate with travel agencies, hotels, and transportation providers to ensure smooth and efficient travel experiences.
- Handle logistical arrangements for player movements.
Team Support:
- Provide on-site support during games and practices to address any immediate needs or issues.
- Working with the Dietitian Coordinator on meals and snack logistics at home and if on the road.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as clubhouse management, concierge services, or travel coordination, preferably within a professional sports environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with players, staff, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the team’s schedule.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with travel management and booking systems.
- Knowledge of the baseball industry and familiarity with team operations.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires frequent travel with the team, including overnight stays and occasional extended trips.
- The role involves working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the team’s schedule and travel needs.
