POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Part-Time Marketing Experience Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the day-to-day planning, processes, and execution for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center live experiences & events. This candidate must be detail oriented and energetic with a passion for creating compelling experiences that create fans for life.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:

  • ​Work closely with Senior Manager, Live Experience to ensure all in-game experiences are executed seamlessly
  • Assist the Live Experience & Marketing team with all non-game day Devils branded events such as Viewing Parties, Dine with the Devils, MB30, etc.
  • Assist as a secondary floor manager for all Devils home games, directing and assisting Devils part-time staff with the execution of on-ice activations, prize giveaways, contests/promotions, and all other in-game elements.
  • Help coordinate & execute pre-game and post-game events tied to Devils games, such as Fanfests, exclusive skates, meet & greets, autograph signings, etc.
  • Contribute to the booking process of all Anthem, Honor Guards, and Hero of the Games for all Devils home games.
  • Assist with selection and communication of all Devils prizes, including contest/sweepstakes winners in-game and throughout the year at various events.
  • Assist with in-arena giveaways: ideas & distribution, including internal staff distribution.
  • Contribute with recaps for marketing events, theme nights, partnership activations and promotions.
  • Brainstorm new in-game entertainment ideas relating to on-ice activities, in-game skits/pranks with NJ Devil, and new concepts for partner in-game features.
  • Contribute to the planning & execution of the Woo Crew Audition process- conceptualize audition plan, recruiting talent, communicating invites to auditions, and overall selection of the team.
  • Assist with scheduling PT Staff (Woo Crew & Game Day Assistants) for all Devils home games and events.

  • Maintain a high level of organization in managing tasks, schedules, and resources, ensuring efficient workflow and the timely completion of projects
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, quickly adjusting to changing priorities and new challenges while maintaining productivity


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in the sports industry is preferred, or candidates with sports management experience gained through academic studies are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Asana is preferred.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel)
  • Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
