JOB SUMMARY:

It is the responsibility of the Emergency Planning/Safety Coordinator to ensure that all work performed at the direction of the Green Bay Packers and Titletown District is done in a safe manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document the Green Bay Packers/Titletown District safety programs to protect employees against harm and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Suggest, develop and maintain work safety policies and standards.
  • Enforce policies developed as part of the safety programs.
  • Coordinate monthly training sessions for at-risk departments and our in-house food service vendor.
  • Oversee risk prevention areas to include: Hazardous Materials Exposure, workplace accidents, fires, and any other unsafe conditions.
  • Meet compliance and reporting requirements of federal and state regulations.
  • Serve as primary contact for safety related inspections (OSHA).
  • Direct activities of the Safety Committee and provide safety related training.
  • Advise the Security/Safety Manager on problem corrections that need to take place and provide advice on correction options.
  • Other safety duties as needed.
  • Work with at-risk departments to establish a budget for safety related items – if necessary.

Anticipated work hours will be 7:00 am -3:30pm Tuesday, Thursdays and every other Friday. However, if business needs dictate a different schedule, Coordinator may be asked to switch schedules to accommodate the needs of a project. Coordinator must be available for all large-scale events held at Lambeau Field and Titletown District.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as related Safety Coordinator required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond to and take control of emergency situations
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Safety Systems
  • Prior experience in an emergency management field, such as law enforcement or fire safety is preferred
  • Prior work with OSHA preferred
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Need to have a flexible schedule, which includes weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to reach, bend, climb, and lift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to push and/or pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
  • Operates in a professional environment.
  • Role routinely uses equipment and machinery.

TRAVEL: No regular travel is expected for this position.

SUPERVISES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
