Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer will support all marketing efforts through the design of creative graphic elements that maintain the continuity of the Miami Marlins brand throughout multiple collateral platforms including print, in-stadium, email, web, social and more. The designer must be a collaborate team player who understands the importance of communication and welcomes feedback. This position calls for creativity, hard work, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced sports/entertainment environment.
Essential Functions:
- Conceptualize, execute, iterate, and finalize multiple design projects simultaneously from start to completion based on provided briefs
- Work closely and collaboratively with other members of Creative Services and other departments
- Support the design team in producing visual assets that meet brand standards: posters, logos, flyers, signage, invites, print ads, seating charts, etc. while adhering to our brand identity standards
- Receive and apply feedback to improve design skills and output
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Portfolio of previous design work
- 1-3+ years professional experience in graphic design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Solid foundation of typography, graphic design principles, and digital content creation
- Familiarity with sports, live events, or entertainment industries is a plus
- Eager to learn and able to work on multiple projects
- Quick to adapt to design modifications and able to effectively execute directions
- Willingness to support the design team and engage in collaborative tasks
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in receiving and acting on feedback
- Reliable, dependable, and accountable to themselves and the organization
- Spanish knowledge is a plus
