The Role


We are looking for a Product Development Manager to lead the development and execution of product strategies that drive engagement and ensure they meet the needs of our supporters and drive our commercial revenue growth.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business owners, designers, developers, and senior stakeholders, to ensure our digital products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Your day-to-day


  • Drive the creation of innovative products - you'll develop and implement product development strategies that align with our club objectives
  • Manage the entire product development life cycle - you will play a key role from idea generation to product launch
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our club - you'll partner with wider teams to define product requirements, prioritise features, create roadmaps and ensure our digital products are effectively promoted and sold
  • Be actively aware of product design plans - you'll oversee the development of wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
  • Manage the development and testing of digital products - you'll ensure that our products meet supporter requirements and that they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Conduct insightful market research - you'll assess the competitor landscape and gather customer feedback to inform product development decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends - you'll take pride in following the latest developments across the industry and educate the wider team on emerging best practices in digital product development

What we are looking for


  • A digital native - you've got proven experience in a digital media focused environment
  • Credible expertise - you have a solid understanding of agile frameworks and methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - you're able to build and nurture impactful relationships with senior stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Demonstrable background in market research - you've previously conducted qualitative and/or quantitative market research and focus groups
  • Clear and concise communicator - you are able to translate technical requirements in a comprehensive way to those with limited technical experience
  • Excellent product management nous - you're proactive in your approach to requirements gathering, prioritisation of the backlog and driving product development from concept to launch
  • True team player - you thrive when you're coaching junior team members and inspiring them to create career defining work
