Senior Licensing Executive

The Role


We are looking for a Senior Licensing Executive to play a key role in the account management of our licensees and provide a best-in-class service with the primary objective of driving retention.

In this exciting role, you'll have critical input into vital workflows across product development, rights delivery, royalty reporting, business planning and business reviews.

Your day-to-day


  • Support the development of the licensing programme - you'll play a crucial role in the delivery of key objectives in engagement and revenue growth
  • Manage licensee relationships - you will take pride in championing effective partnerships and lend your expertise to product approvals, product launches and financial reporting to support continued growth
  • Oversee product development and approvals - you'll diligently manage product development from artwork through to final production samples for a wide array of categories including toys, apparel, publishing, gaming and homeware
  • Provide guidance on advertising and promotions - you will aim to actively drive sales by working closely with licensee’s Marketing team
  • Develop a deep understanding of our licensees - you'll strive to establish a thorough grasp of our licensee’s business dynamics, delivery timelines, commercial objectives, growth strategies and KPIs, supporting their needs without compromising our own strategy and brand values
  • Build impactful relationships - you will passionately collaborate with our Marketing team to design and implement marketing and creative campaigns, tracking and monitoring their performance and you'll link up effectively with the wider Retail department
  • Conduct licensee business reviews - you'll be entrusted to measure licensee performance against business plans and you will challenge licensees to continually improve performance across product development, innovation, sales and distribution
  • Stay abreast of developments and trends - you attend events and trade shows and eagerly keep up to date with the industry, keeping an eye on developments across competitor shopping and reporting on findings

What we are looking for


  • Background in licensing - you come with experience in the licensing and/or sports industry from within an agency, brand owner or licensee
  • Commercial mindset - you're equipped with an understanding of commercial partnerships and licensing business models
  • Passion for licensing/retail/sponsorship - you can demonstrate this through industry courses, qualifications and/or accreditations
  • Excellent relationship building skills - you're proud of your ability to build effective relationships with your colleagues, licensees and partners
  • Best-in-class communicator - you're well versed in working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders and can tailor your style and approach as necessary
  • Flexibility and adaptability - you possess a dedicated, motivational and flexible can-do approach
  • Best-in-class attention to detail - you're able to work at pace across a number of projects concurrently, without compromising on quality and accuracy
  • Trusted ambassador for our club - you're able to champion our brand and values and represent us with the utmost professionalism at all times
