Payroll Administrator (15 month FTC)

The Role


We are looking for a Payroll Administrator on a fixed term basis to ensure all causal staff are paid accurately, on time and according to our Club policies. The role is also responsible for making sure expenses are processed, posted and reconciled correctly.

Your day-to-day


  • Take ownership of payroll processes - you will be responsible for processing lunar payroll on a 4 weekly basis, being the first point of contact for any query resolutions
  • Provide coordination - you’ll attentively assist with payroll administration, maintaining all payroll records for lunar payroll populations
  • Manage expenses - you will take ownership for the reconciliation and posting of expenses according to Club policies
  • Support the Finance team - you will enthusiastically assist our Finance team on all business and support services

What we are looking for


  • Proven experience in a similar finance environment - you have substantial payroll experience in a similar background, basic accounting experience desired
  • Excellent attention to detail - you are able to hold focus and accuracy of data preparation and entry, applying basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills - you can deal with high volume manual transactions and commit to strict deadlines, prioritising tasks accordingly with a high degree of accuracy
  • Technical knowledge - you hold basic IT skills covering MS Office applications, knowledge of ResourceLink system desired
