The Role
We are looking for a Football Analyst to play a key role in the delivery of holistic and rounded football clarity and insight through analysis to our Men's First Team.
Your detailed and insightful analysis will make a major contribution to how the Football Analysis team sets us up for success and enhances our chances of winning in different contexts. You will passionately collaborate with the wider Analysis team and forge impactful and proactive relationships with our Tactical Assistant Coach and First Team Manager.

Your day-to-day
- Diligently prepare pre-match opposition analysis - you will support in the preparation of all pre-match opposition analysis content
- Develop impactful pre, post and individual match analysis - you'll spearhead the design of all content and materials for meetings with players
- Support in the creation of key content - you will actively support in the preparation of all content relevant to our game model
- Handle critical analysis of training - you'll be actively involved in the analysis of our training programme
- Proactively support match-day operations - you'll travel with the team to all home and away matches to assist in the integration of new live data streams, troubleshooting of match-day networks and lead in the implementation of new technology
- Collaborate with our data specialists - you'll form and uphold successful relationships with our data scientists and data visualisation analysts to automate working processes
- Ensure training sessions are captured - you will take ownership of the process of filming and editing our training sessions
- Champion new technology - you'll pioneer the use and integration of emerging technology and AI into our daily workflow and processes
What we are looking for
- Proven background in football analysis - you come with a credible background of providing football analysis at an elite level and you possess an excellent tactical understanding of football
- Excellent level of telestration skills - you're skilled at preparing team meetings including telestrations to deliver to coaches and players
- Best-in-class communication skills - you're confident in your ability to deliver and communicate performance insights to key colleagues across our club
- Champion of best practice - you hold a detailed understanding of varying working methodologies and current and emerging best practices within elite sports analysis
- Courageous team player - you're motivated by a strong hunger to continuously challenge and evolve and you use your exceptional inter-personal skills to positively contribute to our strong levels of team cohesion
- Flexible, adaptable and accurate approach - you are proud of your resilience and your ability to retain a high standard of output in a ever changing fast paced environment
Desirable:
- Good level of design skills - you're skilled at designing templates, graphics and pictures for presentations
- Technology first mindset - you recognise the potential of AI and adapt to other emerging technologies and their application in automating working processes
