Motion Graphic Designer

Job Description:

Summary:

The New York Mets are seeking a talented and creative Motion Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and eye-catching still and motion designs for a variety of projects including social media content, advertisements and in-venue LEDs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with creative team to develop concepts and design solutions for a wide range of projects

· Create graphics and animation for print, digital media, social media, and websites that increases brand awareness and fan engagement

· Diverse storytelling with still and motion graphics

· Ensure brand consistency and adherence to design guidelines across all projects

Essential Skills:

· 5+ years of experience in design and animation – (Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work will be requested)

· Must be proficient in all aspects of Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· A deep understanding of typography, design elements, principles and best practices across print and digital.

· Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Experience designing assets for large venues

· General knowledge of 3D animation is a plus (Cinema, MAYA, Blender, Unreal).

Physical Demands:

· This position may require some travel during the year
