Sitting within the Fan Operations function, Fan Services along with Fan Information and Fan Experience and Innovation, aims to help deliver the most engaging, innovative, and accessible World Cup experience for all players, fans, partners, and the community.

FIFA 2026 Fan Services work closely with each stadium to ensure the delivery of a wide range of services inside and around the stadiums with a focus on wayfinding, information distribution, ushering, fan services booths operation, lost & found items, restricted items storage, turnstiles operations, mobility assistance services and more. The Fan Services team also leads the coordination of the stadiums’ Last Mile operations – (Last Mile: Routes between transport modes and the stadium’s entrances)

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Fan Services, the Fan Services Manager will help serve Fan Operation’s efforts for the FIFA World Cup 2026 that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities of the Fan Services Manager for the FIFA World Cup 2026 include:
• Supporting the Fan Services Senior Manager with overall planning and delivery of the project.
• Oversee the assessment, planning and delivery of all the stadiums fan services operations, spaces and equipment.
• Oversee the tournament time staffing requirements and manage associate administration. Support in the administration of Fan Services volunteer management.
• Responsible for developing, tracking and updating the Fan Services project plan and integrating it with the FIFA World Cup 2026 overall project plan. Identify risks, gaps and opportunities for efficiencies and proactively communicate the project status, issues & risks to the Fan Services Senior Manager.
• Capture, track and communicate the project status, issues & risks to the Fan Services Senior Manager.
• Assists with the coordination of the Last Mile project meetings and integration with the project’s key stakeholders.
• Assists with the coordination of integration meetings with key FIFA 2026 functions such as Safety & Security, Ticketing, Transport, and other.
• Oversees the development and review process of the Fan Services Policies and Procedures.
• Oversees the coordination of Fan Services related training in all stadiums.
• Works closely with the Fan Operations Information and Innovation & Experience teams for the successful planning and delivery of fan operations projects such as the stadiums fans information content and the tournament app.
• Manage all Fan services Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment requirements and associated logistics across venues.
• Oversees the planning and procurement of all required assets and collateral needed within each stadium.
• Manage and coordinate the Signage and Dressing requirements across all venues.
• Contribution to knowledge management initiatives including event debriefs, and knowledge capture and documentation activities.
• Contributor to other key projects within the Fan Operations team.

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
• University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education).
• Team Player, willing to work to tight timelines.
• Solution oriented.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize and handle large workload efficiently at peak times.
• Sound judgement and prioritization of tasks.
• International, cross-cultural work experiences preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in fan/spectator services for professional sports clubs and/or in the organization of major sporting and/or football events.
• Knowledge of international football/soccer and football/soccer fans.
• Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes.
• Experience in the development and integration of operational plans.
• Experience in workforce or volunteer management and training.
• Experience in event logistics management and procurement.
• Experience in managing complex projects, preferably sports events.

Languages
• Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

Technology
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
