LOCATION: Surrey, Berkshire, Sussex, Hampshire, Essex, Kent & London
CONTRACT: Variable - anytime between 7.30am and 9pm – Monday to Sunday
PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):
- To deliver safe, inclusive and high quality coaching sessions on a daily basis across the core programmes. These to include, but not limited to all In-School and Out of School activity, Player Development Programme activity, sessions at a post 16 football programme and the various activity delivered during the school holidays.
- To deliver on activity to support, develop, engage and enhance the relationships with local youth football clubs/schools/organisations/leisure centres/local authority/The Club.
- To deliver on any activity deemed appropriate and reasonable by the Line Manager.
- To support the wider team by networking and sharing relevant information and opportunities to further enhance the out-reach delivery programme.
- To carry out duties relevant to legislation and the Clubs policies and Foundation procedures.
- To undertake any Foundation activities that maybe required in addition to the role.

HERE TO WIN (Measures of Performance):
- To deliver coaching sessions across the week at no less than 60% of the contracted hours. (The 60% does not include travel and set up/down).
- To be a positive role model, creating a safe, positive, inclusive and fun environment in which to educate, motivate and inspire young people to succeed and develop.
- To build robust relationships with the internal and external customers, local schools, clubs, organisations, governing bodies and authorities.
- To help and support CFCF Development Staff to mentor and guide sessional workers in best practice and professionalism.
- To sustain and further develop activities through participation growth.
PROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification):
Qualifications:
- A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification. (FA Level 1 is the equivalent qualification).
- In date FA Safeguarding Children course & the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certificate.
- Clean driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Experience:
- Been involved in community/grass roots sports as a participant or coach.
- Worked as part of a team within a sporting environment.
Skills and Behaviours:
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to organise and motivate team members.
- Confident and outgoing personality.
- Aims to support and improve staff members.
- Attention to detail.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Risk aware and confident in escalating information.
