Reporting organizationally to the Head of Access Management, the Manager, Access Management Access Systems & Applications Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Access Management team. They will be responsible for developing and managing a range of tools to assist in the planning and delivery of access operations of the FWC2026 at all stadiums and the IBC. Such tools will include:

• Access Management System (AMS).
• Access Manual – online tool including digital mapping and wayfinding tools.

Working closely with the Head of Access Management, FIFA Corporate Access Manager and IT, this person will help develop the AMS in its functionalities, reporting systems and set up. In addition, through close coordination with the Access Management Team and other Functional Areas (FA), this person will develop an Access Manual tool, which will provide a centralized information function for all access requirements for all official venues.

The Manager, Access Management Systems & Applications will manage 2 Coordinators whose primary function will be to support the Manager.

The Manager, Access Management Systems & Applications will be an active member of the Access Management (ACS) HQ team throughout the planning phases and the tournament period.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Access Management Manager Access Systems & Applications for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

• Help develop the AMS.
• Setup the AMS for the Tournament
• Provide training and training materials on the system to ACS, ACR and SEC staff.
• Be the central focal point for issue resolution on the AMS system.
• Oversee the distribution and collection of the AMS physical devices.
• Develop the Access Manual tool – to find the most innovative method using the latest technology.
• Provide central support as part of ACS Main HQ team during the tournament.

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or similar level of higher education in IT & Systems, Sport Venue Management, Safety and Security or similar.
• Qualifications or extensive experience in access management systems.
• If experience is compensating, lower degree is welcome to apply.
• Qualifications in IT systems.
• FIFA access management knowledge is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Stature and professional experience necessary to interact as partner with senior colleagues.
• Good judgement, superb integrity, maturity, and fairness in dealing with people.

Work Experience

• Minimum experience of 4 years in the sport event industry, with access management systems, ticketing systems or similar for large scale events.
• Experience in delivering training.
• Single-sport, multi-venue event experience.
• Management and leadership of a team in high pressure tournament operations.
• Demonstratable ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and under pressure.

Languages
• Fluent in English.
• French and Spanish an advantage.

Technology
• Access Management Systems, Ticketing Systems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project, Power BI) and planning software and online collaboration tools.
