The Los Angeles Rams are seeking a dedicated and motivated Performance Dietitian Fellow to join our Performance Team. As a Performance Dietitian Fellow, you will report to the Head Team Performance Dietitian and work closely with our Performance team to enhance and support player nutrition, wellness, and performance using evidence-based counseling, education, and food service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with elite athletes in a high-performance environment.

Note: This is a 12-month assignment, with the possibility of an extension for another 12-months.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Team Performance Dietitian in delivering performance-enhancing nutrition services to players and staff.
Oversee daily operations and inventory management of the fueling station.
Lead on select away game operations; Fellow will advance to away location and coordinate with hotel and stadium staff to ensure a smooth operation.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to support elite players, coaches, and staff in achieving their performance and wellness goals.
Evaluate nutritional supplements for legality, safety, quality, and efficacy.
Assist in a variety of assessment modalities including but not limited to body composition, bloodwork, and hydration.
Stay up to date with current nutrition research, trends, and best practices, and incorporate new knowledge into the team’s nutrition program.
Assist in executing the peri-training fueling and supplementation for athletes.
Collaborate with the Performance team to create and maintain an industry-leading environment for our athletes, coaches, and staff.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field required.
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
Previous experience in football is preferred.
Intrinsic motivation, positive attitude and great work ethic.
Ability to embody a growth mindset, elite professionalism, and demonstrate resilience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

This position is based at our Woodland Hills facility and requires a daily on-site presence. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Must be available to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on the team’s season schedule.
Travel is required for away-game trips.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Salary: Annual salary of $66,600.
