The Los Angeles Rams are looking to add to their Performance Department by hiring an Associate of Strength and Conditioning to assist the Rams Strength and Conditioning Staff with the design, implementation and audit of all positional strength, power, speed, agility programming in 2024. Candidates must be able to collaborate in a team environment. The Associate of Strength and Conditioning will need to work in conjunction with sports medicine, nutrition, operations on various projects pertaining to the 2024 Off-Season Program, Training Camp and the 2024 Season. Additionally, the Associate of Strength and Conditioning will be expected to work within the entire organization on an as-needed basis on other performance and operational-related deliverables.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development of global periodization, injury reduction, hamstring focus group intervention strategies.
  • Facilitate field sessions with assigned position groups
  • Assist with all strength and conditioning program design, implementation, and quality control initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sports Medicine Staff on Return To Performance Run Build/Lift Programming efforts.
  • Facilitate training for tiered group/modified athletes with assigned position groups.
  • Collaborate with Research & Development + In-House Education activities as assigned.
  • Assist in Quarterly Report, Development Program, End of Season Reports and player strength and conditioning evaluations.
  • Enhance our We Not Me culture & be a compliance-driver thru positivity and enthusiasm.
  • Assist with all weight room/field set-ups, resets, take-downs and cleanings before and after each workout session/group.

Additional Requirements:

  • Role will be onsite (Woodland Hills Facility)
  • Training Camp & Seasonal Game Week Travel Required
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the football season (August to February).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Athletic Performance Related Field - Required
  • NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC Certification – Required
  • Current First Aid, AED & CPR Certification – Required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of full-time experience as a high school, private or collegiate strength and conditioning coach within the sport of American Football – Required
  • Understanding of GPS/RFID tracking systems, Vald Products, and VBT methodologies - Preferred

Annual Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000. Exact compensation may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
