Position Summary:

The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans Associate Program is a ten-month program that exposes entry-level candidates to the business side of sports. These intern level positions work across both the NFL and NBA seasons, and work full-time hours in various departments within our organization.

The Video Production Associate’s main focus will be on the creation of digital video content and player/team highlights. We're looking for someone with a creative approach to content creation who is also enthusiastic about helping other team members bring ideas to life.

This temporary position is based in the New Orleans, LA area, and will run from June 9, 2025 – April 17, 2026.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in developing creative and entertaining video content
  • Shoots and Edits promotional material, player features, and sponsored videos
  • Handles all Sponsorship and Digital Media video requests
  • Archive, log and maintain Pelicans and Saints game footage for future use
  • Work as a crew member on game days when necessary

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is preferred; in Television, Video Production, Marketing, Communications, or related field of study; or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for basketball and football are a plus, but not a necessity.
  • Technical knowledge of the following are a major plus: Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe after Effects, Adobe Illustrator, General Production Equipment (DSLR Cameras, Audio Equipment, Production Lights, etc.)
  • Possess an exceptional work ethic, a strong desire to succeed, and a professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to operate in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and maintain confidentiality
  • Must possess excellent organizational, written, verbal and listening skills
  • Must have solid knowledge of the NBA, statistics and basketball terminology in order to effectively perform duties
  • Must be able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to New Orleans for ten months
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by games and the NBA and NFL schedules
