Position Summary:

The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans Associate Program is a ten-month program that exposes entry-level candidates to the business side of sports. These intern level positions work across both the NFL and NBA seasons, and work full-time hours in various departments within our organization.

This temporary position is based in the New Orleans, LA area, and will run from June 9, 2025 – April 17, 2026.

What you will be doing:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Partnership Sales, including prospecting new business opportunities for media sales and corporate partnerships
  • Conduct outbound outreach to individuals and businesses to identify and qualify potential leads for corporate partnerships and media sales
  • Set meetings and schedule face-to-face appointments for senior sales executives, focusing on Saints and Pelicans partnerships & media opportunities
  • Contribute to departmental goals by achieving weekly and monthly outreach targets and consistently setting high-quality meetings
  • Support the creation of sales materials and assist in the development and execution of corporate partner media strategies
  • Engage in professional client-facing conversations and interactions, contributing to the overall client experience
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the Corporate Partnership Department

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is preferred; sales, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a proactive and professional demeanor
  • Ability to meet and exceed outreach targets and adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with Saints and Pelicans brands is a plus
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of NBA and NFL terminology, statistics, and operations
  • Exceptional work ethic, flexibility to adapt to change, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to New Orleans for 10 months
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by NFL and NBA schedules
