Role Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Lead is responsible for oversight and coordination of all inside/outside maintenance of the Los Angeles Rams. This includes ensuring the maintenance of physical property, completing projects on time and within budget, managing a parts inventory and preventative maintenance schedule. This position may also be involved in new construction or modification of existing properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with the Facilities Operations Manager to develop and implement a successful preventative maintenance schedule of the Los Angeles Rams practice facility.
- Inspects the facility on daily basis and performs or coordinates repairs when necessary.
- Responsible for ordering, managing and organizing a tools and parts inventory for repair needs that may arise at the facility.
- Develops and implements policies for facilities, mechanical, and engineering functions.
- Establishes and maintains a reliable work relationship with outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
- Partners with the Facilities Operations Manager in tracking the overall maintenance budget to ensure that maintenance costs and projects are kept within budget.
- Works with the Custodial Supervisor to oversee that the overall cleanliness of the facility is kept at an NFL standard.
- Tracks and maintains proper building inspections and certifications.
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining a facility key inventory to ensure that the facility is secure.
- Works with different vendors and partners to lead set up of external events, facility office spaces and Rams Training Camp.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate from an accredited college/university in facilities management, construction, electrical, HVAC, engineering or related field.
- 2 years experience in facilities or related maintenance field
- Advanced Knowledge in building maintenance procedures in at least one of the following areas; electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include, daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Understands the time urgency in an NFL environment and makes sure that repairs and renovations are completed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates leadership with an ability to work well within an assigned team
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and great work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to supervise and train part-time employees
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
