Job Title: Coordinator, Box Office Operations
Department: Ticket Sales & Operations
Reports to: Director, Box Office Operations
Position Summary: This position assists in all aspects of the ticket sales and customer service process. Key projects include managing the Season Ticket Member (STM) Waitlist and “Select a Seat” sales event. Also responsible for helping with any account overflows, working in the box office on game days, and other administrative duties.
Key metrics used to evaluate performance:
- Feedback from Customer Service and Ticket Ops staff
- Survey after “Select a Seat” event
- STM renewal rate
Duties & Responsibilities:
- CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Manage STM waitlist, anticipating and resolving all complaints, requests, and inquiries driving new STM sales
- Assist with any account overflow (shared responsibility with Ticket Operations Coordinator)
- Non-traditional STMs:
- Execute any special case season ticket favor or request from upper management or ownership
- Work cross-functionally with Corporate Partnerships department to fulfill all season seat needs listed in contracts
- Lead “Select a Seat” sales event and handle all logistics (including communications, scheduling, employee volunteers, etc.)
- Assist with other annual customer service events
- TICKETS & OPERATIONS
- Coordinate with Ticket Operations Coordinator to rotate working at box office on game days (Lakers and South Bay Lakers games)
- ADMINISTRATIVE
- Manage all filing – all renewal documents for STM (including invoices/payment plans, contracts, etc.)
- Draft and send out license agreements/contracts (using DocuSign)
- Pull all documents required by annual auditors and/or accounting department
- Work cross-functionally with all other departments on any issues related to ticketing
- Assist with any additional duties as assigned by the Vice President, Ticket Sales & Operations

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in ticketing
- Experience with creating & editing contracts
Technology Capabilities:
- Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ticketmaster Archtics
- Dynamics (or related CRM platform)
- InDesgin and/or Adobe Photoshop
- DocuSign
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
- Ability to communicate with all levels within organization
- Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to exercise a sensitivity to confidential information
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk significant distances in arena on game days
Location: El Segundo, CA, downtown Los Angeles (Crypto.com Arena for Laker home games), and other occasional off-site events
Travel: Less than 5% of the time
Hours: Regular office hours (9am- 5:30pm) plus most game days (both Lakers and South Bay Lakers); must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
The pay range for this role is $20/hour to $23/hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications.
