The Indianapolis Colts are seeking a motivated and creative minded candidate with a passion for photography and football to join the Colts Photographic Services team. The ideal candidate possesses an attention to detail and proven experience incorporating creative photography into existing and emerging digital platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Photographic Services Intern's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with social, digital, and content teams to fulfill game day requests
  • Photograph all games capturing creative images showcasing peak action and intense moments
  • Photo support for community outreach and assist with coverage of partnership events
  • Assist with DAM workflows to build and maintain photo database via Photoshelter
  • Create working metadata list of current roster of staff and players for tagging images
  • Assist with planning and executing studio photo shoots requiring creative lighting setups
  • Assist with organizing, managing, and processing internal and external requests using Asana
  • Edit using creative photo filters/software for an enhanced look and feel on all social platforms
  • Review and edit sets of photographs selecting the best results in a timely manner for release on all Colts owned and operated platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience as a photographer in a fast-paced sports environment
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop/RAW, Photo Mechanic, Lightroom, PhotoShelter, Asana
  • Knowledge in wireless ftp image transfer during game day
  • Strong creative and artistic mindset
  • Strong knowledge of studio and location lighting techniques
  • Ability to work with professional athletes and coaches in a professional manner
  • Full-Time with a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends and holidays) and travel
  • Strong understanding of social media and how to capture engaging content for specific platforms
  • Flexibility to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License
