Reporting organisationally to the Access Control Project Manager, the Specialist, Access Control System will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial team, and work in close collaboration with FIFA Zurich key collaborators and other key individuals responsible for the delivery of the stadium and non-stadium ticketing facilities that will service millions of ticket holders and will oversee the implementation of the logistics strategy for the production of tickets in the host countries.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Specialist, Access Control for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:

• Supervise Stadium Authorities in delivering electronic access control (EAC) infrastructure/facilities across all venues such as:

  • Stadium management network (EACS Network)
  • Electronic access control system (EACS)
  • Physical connection as a basis for data exchange
  • Interface software for data exchange

• Manage the interface between electronic access control solutions used at the competition venues and FIFA’s ticketing system
• Ticketing system set up and configuration in relation to EAC
• Implementation of EAC specification of interfaces between the ticketing system and the access control system
• Support to define and coordinate the definition of access control specifications
• Support the definition of flow data for ticket holders and define access rules
• Monitor the access control interfaces and facilitate issue resolution with relevant parties
• Support the mobile ticketing project and provide required support for configuration, deployment, testing and maintenance
• Ensure provision of training materials for electronic access control solution clearing tool
• Monitor and validate the technical and operational readiness of the electronic access control solution at the venues
• Support stadium electronic access control system tests prior and during the tournament
• Ensure provision of the test results and follow-up on the outstanding items
• During tournament monitor interfaces and reporting

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, technology minded, efficient and accountable team player
• Ability to adapt to working with different environment and time zones
• Experience in Electronic Access Control, IT system, Integrations or Data Exchange projects
• 2-3 year in ticketing project for international sporting events with experience in managing Electronic Access Control systems
• Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
