JOB SUMMARY:

Underdirectionofthe Sr. Marketing Coordinator,the ‘2024-25 Seasonal Assistant, Marketing’will be responsible for supporting key Marketing priorities that are inclusive of, but not limited to: Cavs game night activations, Fan Engagement Marketing initiatives, Customer Service-related inquiries and more!

*** This is a temporary position from September 2024 - June 2025, that will work onsite at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse approx. 40 hours per week.

PAY RATE: $15.00/HR START DATE: September 9th, 2024

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages fan mail requests through an organized and efficient process that leaves a positive impression on Cavs fans.
  • Assists the Sr. Marketing Coordinator with the setup and breakdown of the Cavaliers concourse experience at home games.
  • Assists with Loyalty Program perk fulfillment.
  • Assists the Sr. Marketing Coordinator with executing Cavs Kids Club events and membership pack distribution.
  • Collaborates with the Sr. Marketing Coordinator to plan and activate All For Fun Tour community events.
  • Assists the Sr. Manager of Marketing with the distribution of Cavaliers promotional giveaways.
  • Maintains a fan-first attitude ensuring strong positive engagement occurs amongst event attendees.
  • Responsible for ordering and keeping a running inventory of autographed items and Team Member apparel for the Marketing Department.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders in the organization to create Promotional Night recaps.
  • Assists with Cavs promotions and theme nights, seasonal celebrations, and ongoing fan engagement Marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborates and communicates often with Team Members across various departments about ongoing projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4 year Bachelors Degree from an accredited university. Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, Sports Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays and events as assigned (this position DOES have game-night responsibilities during Cavs home games).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
  • Photography and Social Media experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be organized, highly motivated, and team oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs.
