JOB SUMMARY:

UnderdirectionofthePartnership Marketing & Activation Manager,the ‘2024-25 Seasonal Assistant, Corporate Partnerships’ is responsible for observing, learning and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Partnerships Marketing Team for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Monsters, Charge, Legion, and REG (Rock Entertainment Group).

*** This is a temporary position from September 2024 - June 2025, that will work onsite at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse approx. 40 hours per week.

PAY RATE: $15.00/HR START DATE: September 9th, 2024

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the activation of partnerships across all franchises (Cavs, Monsters, Charge, Legion & REG), with majority focus on Cavaliers.
  • Track proof of performance and metrics for partners to use in recaps and/or monthly check-ins.
  • Fulfillment of partner promotions, including sweepstakes prizes.
  • Fan facing in dealing with questions regarding partner specific promotions.
  • Assist in event planning and coordination.
  • Game day responsibilities including taking photos, helping with hospitality questions, ticket questions, promo prizes, meeting fans.
  • Support the overall functionality of the CP team internally, including inventory, storage management, ordering items for activations, etc.
  • Work with Partnership Solutions team to fulfill digital sweepstakes including but not limited to, messaging winners, managing Corporate Activation email inbox, delivering or shipping prizes, etc.
  • Support all Partnership Marketing, Development, and Activation team members on the development of creative for sales decks, renewals, presentations, recap videos, activation videos, etc.
  • Performs administrative duties as needed, including setting up meetings, making copies, receiving and breaking down boxes, running errands, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4 year Bachelors Degree program, preferably with an emphasis in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays and events as assigned.
  • Background and hands-on experience in graphic design and layout.
  • Working knowledge of desktop publishing, especially the Microsoft and Adobe Suite.
  • Familiar with popular web-design concepts.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues.
  • Flexible, motivated, and equipped to work in an environment of rapid change.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
