Position Overview
The Coordinator of Partnership Activation will interact and collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal departments to fulfill contractual obligations and grow relationships with assigned accounts. You will work with the sales department to help reach and exceed revenue goals. In this role, you will play a key role in fulfillment, research, sales reporting, drive new revenue and other functions involved in the sales and business operations areas. Your main responsibility is to assist in activating partnership contract terms, develop relationships with current partners and help renew partnership contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive corporate partnership presentation decks that meet the clients marketing objectives
- Prepare all mid-year and year-end recaps
- Support all sales team members, and their assigned marketing partners, in providing outstanding service to the account and fulfillment elements related to partnership agreements
- Maintain corporate partnership inventory through KORE
- Generate and maintain prospect folders
- Carry out research for all potential prospects from building proposals and maintain lists for all sellable categories
- Responsible for all NBA G League reporting related to the TPRR report and other league reports related to corporate and ticket sales departments
- Collaborate with event managers and various departments on all sales events relating to corporate partnerships and attend corporate partnership meetings as requested
- Working with marketing and game presentation team members in advance for all in- game programing related to videoboard, on-court presentations and other key elements related to fulfillment obligations
- Assist marketing and sales department with any game day logistics with a focus on fulfillment, FEP’s meeting clients and other duties assigned on game day
- Communicate and share information with various Hornets personnel and departments
- Perform administration duties or new sales opportunities assigned by manager
- Assist in ordering items related to partnership deals and agreements.
- Assist with keeping an organized calendar for all events, orders, games, meetings, and other deadlines for all partnership related items.
Required Skills, Experience & Abilities
To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university ideally in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, Management, Events or another related field
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, events, and/or client retention
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficient in Photoshop preferred
- Ability to work with CRM/KORE software
- Presents self in professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization and outside contacts
- Interpersonal skills –listens to others, works well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently
- Adaptability – adapts to change in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to handle frequent changes
- Dependability – consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to manager’s instructions
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays including all Greensboro Swarm home games
