JOB SUMMARY: The Parking Coordinator assists the parking management team in all aspects of the operations of the Parking Services Department. The coordinator oversees day of game and non-game event operations which includes administrative work, payroll, staffing, supervising event staff and working with internal and external clients on parking needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Assists with the management and supervision of the parking department
  • Oversees hiring, training and supervision of all parking and ADA cart staff
  • Ensures adherence to all organizational policies and procedures
  • Prepares, maintains and updates the event parking calendar for the department
  • Assists with event audits and parking reports for the department
  • Assists the parking management team with data collection and managing the daily operations of the ParkHub devices and technology
  • Reports any maintenance and parking facility repairs that are needed
  • Answers and responds to the parking hotline, parking inquires and complaints
  • Schedule and coordinate all event day operations of the parking department to include Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, AT&T Stadium and any other venues and events assigned
  • Responsible for inventory management of all Parking equipment.
  • Attend internal and external meetings that require parking, to include city traffic meetings for upcoming games and special events
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all stakeholders, to include internal departments, season ticket holders, City of Arlington departments and outside clients and vendors
  • Must be well organized, possess excellent customer service and communication skills
  • All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Clear driving record and able to operate golf carts and utility vehicles
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be well organized and possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be vigilant, and alert with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Availability to work some weekends, evenings, and holidays as assigned.
