JOB SUMMARY: The Creative Content Coordinator will collaborate with the Director of Creative Content to craft and refine content, produce copy, and uphold the distinctive voice of the Texas Rangers in their marketing endeavors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Write copy for Texas Rangers marketing materials including broadcast reads, TV and radio scripts, emails, and marketing pages on Rangers.com.

  • Assist with commercial/content shoots, as well as, the creation, editing, and organization of content for our broadcast and social channels.

  • Assist in podcast production, lining up recording times and even recording and directing sessions as needed.

  • Work with the creative team to explore trends and technology, including the use of AI in our marketing communication efforts.

  • Work with our Art Director and design team to assist with copy for creative assets.

  • Assist with marketing audits of other teams, brands, and events.

  • Team with social media and content managers to generate concepts and ideas.

  • Contribute to our creative culture of curiosity.

  • All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience.

  • Ability to write clear, benefit-oriented copy.

  • Ability and willingness to write in our brand voice.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and internal partners.

  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with and ability to work with our creative team in Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Ability to distill lots of input into a succinct output.

  • A healthy curiosity about marketing, persuasion, strategy, and human nature.

  • Positive attitude.
