Coordinator, Authentics & Auctions

Job Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day coordination and execution of Blues for Kids auctions and Rinkside Reserve weekly item release.
  • Create auction and sale schedules based on in-and-out of arena events, team performance and timing of game-used gear being received.
  • Manage day-to-day coordination and execution of in-person Rinkside Reserve sales (on and off site).
  • Work with Blues equipment staff to develop and maintain regular retrieval of game-used gear.
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Youth Hockey and Fan Development to ensure all certificates of authenticity are accurate and feature the matching hologram number.
  • Manage COA database (includes sending to BI team for upload on a regular basis).
  • Work with Digital Media team to promote upcoming auctions and Rinkside Reserve sales.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Givesmart and Shopify platforms and their capabilities.
  • Reach revenue goals as assigned by Sr. Manager, Youth Hockey and Fan Development.
  • Develop a strong and efficient process for organizing and inventorying game-used storage(s).
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of auction and Rinkside Reserve items.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • High level of hockey knowledge required, playing experience preferred
  • Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in mentoring and supporting less experienced coaches, helping them develop their skills and confidence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
