Join our dynamic team at Stifel Theatre as a Part-Time Event Carpenter. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the success of our concerts and events through hands-on carpentry and maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as the on-duty carpenter during assigned concerts and events, providing essential support for setups and breakdowns.
· Assist with the arrangement of tables, chairs, and other equipment to ensure seamless event execution.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas and the carpentry shop.
· Identify equipment needing maintenance and collaborate on a plan for necessary repairs and upkeep.
· Operate forklifts for event load-in and load-out as needed.
· Supervise casual labor staff when engaged for events.
· Support full-time carpenters with building maintenance projects, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and furniture moving.
· Participate in building assessments with the Senior Operations Manager and Maintenance Foreman to prioritize maintenance tasks.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Forklift certification is required.
· Basic proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
· Ability to work independently with sound judgment and minimal supervision.
· Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and event personnel.
· Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow and convey instructions clearly.

Qualifications:
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
