The Portland Timbers are looking for a detail-oriented team member to join our ticket operations team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, familiar with ticketing systems, has a strong work ethic, and a passion for contributing to a successful ticketing department. We are looking for someone who is technologically proficient with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities (in order of importance):

Responsible for gaining and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of our ticketing system, and other 3rd party ticketing platforms, in order to:
- Train sales and service reps in Seatgeek/Unify
- Assist sales department with setup of 3rd party group initiatives
- Provide excellent customer service to fans on gamedays
- Perform all ticket operations duties, including building seasons, setting up 3rd party events, and troubleshooting client issues
- Handle ticket reporting for MLS, 3rd parties, and different departments within our organization
Keep current on industry trends to put our organization in the best possible position to succeed in our market
Will have in-game duties during Timbers, Thorns FC, and third party events and games.

Qualifications:

1 year experience with ticketing software preferred.
Familiarity with the Seatgeek platform preferred.
Strong Excel skills
Ability to master new technology quickly
Exceptional customer service
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends is required
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of work experience

Ticket Operations Coordinator
