TITLE: Goaltending Professional

DEPARTMENT: Hockey Programming

ACOUNTBALE TO: Director of Player and Coach Development

BASED AT: UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex (Cranberry Township, PA)

SUMMARY:

Primary role - oversee, promote and act as the lead instructor for all goalie programming at the facility including, but not limited to private and group lessons, camps and clinics, Pittsburgh Penguins Elite team training sessions and EXCEL Hockey Academy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

UPMC LEMIEUX SPORTS COMPLEX:

Work with the Executive Director of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex to develop a strategic calendar of fully-integrated goalie programming designed to provide value to each user group while maximizing the profitability for the facility
Strategize, design & implement an innovative programming plan for all goaltending sessions.
Prepare and manage budget for all goaltending programming held at the facility.
Act as lead instructor for UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex goalie sessions.
Develop comprehensive goalie training sessions for goalies of all ages and abilities during spring and summer camps and clinics.
Recruit, hire, train, manage and associate coaches in an effort to meet or exceed the established financial goals.
Cultivate and manage relationships with all goalie families.

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS ELITE:

Act as lead instructor for all Pittsburgh Penguins Elite goalie training.
Develop a database of all Pittsburgh Penguins Elite goalies including training program, progression tracking and video review.
Promote Pens Elite goalies to scouts and college coaches.
Watch and evaluate Pens Elite goalies during game play (in person or via video) monthly. Provide feedback to goalies based on observations.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS ASSIGNED

Other duties as assigned by Executive Director, Hockey Operations and/or Executive Director, Business Operations.
