Phanstormer (Game Day)

JOB SUMMARY

The Phanstormer will primarily assist the Entertainment department with in-game birthday program responsibilities which chiefly involves making seat visits to fans who purchase the Phillies’ Phunster birthday package. We are seeking energetic, motivated individuals who are available for the Phillies 2025 season.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage with fans on the concourse as they enter the stadium.
• Perform seat visits which include singing “Happy Birthday” to fans who purchase Phunster birthday package.
• Deliver game-used balls to fans who purchase the specific ticket package.
• Random fan interaction involving interactive games and improvisations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Very comfortable interacting with fans and large crowds.
• Outstanding communication skills and a positive, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Available to work at least 50 Phillies home games throughout the 2025 season including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual, and courteous.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to respond to any situation quickly and professionally.
• Professional demeanor at all times.
• Familiarity with the team and Citizens Bank Park is a plus.
• Musical background is a plus.
• Vocal experience is a plus.
• Must live in the Greater Philadelphia area.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the ballpark.
• If under the age of 18, must have working papers from the school you are currently attending.
• If selected, must be available for pre-season training later in the month of February into early March.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods lasting up to 6 hours per shift.
• Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, knelling, and squatting for extended periods.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
