JOB SUMMARY
The Event Command Post Dispatcher is responsible for assisting Game Day staff in the Command Post with answering phone or radio calls and assisting in dispatching appropriate personnel for all needs that arise during an event throughout the ballpark. Additionally, this role would assist security staff with crowds and guests in the ballpark when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phone and radio calls.
- Dispatch appropriate personnel for each call (security, medical, housekeeping, etc.).
- Manage and input incidents on our incident management software.
- Assist with CCTV operations when needed.
- Assist security with maintaining safety in the ballpark.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Comfortable with two-way radios, iPads, computers, and cameras
- Ability to be independent and responsible without constant supervision.
- Constant attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a high activity and heavily crowded environment.
- Communicate effectively with guests and other employees.
- Maintain a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor.
- Report one hour prior to gates (or earlier) and stay one hour post-event.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of an FBI fingerprint clearance and a criminal background check.
