A quick summary about the Marketing Media Graduate Associate role:

The Marketing Media Graduate Associate will focus on assisting the branding, advertising and overall marketing initiatives of the team, including overseeing specific mediums for products such as single game tickets, retail, youth basketball programs and others. Additionally, support core organizational initiatives including multicultural marketing.

What the Marketing Media Graduate Associate will be responsible for:

  • Contribute to full season marketing plan development and launch
  • Assist with branding initiatives which touch every asset from mass advertising to internal publications and multimedia
  • Assist with advertising campaign execution
  • Responsible for copywriting TV, radio and in-game announcements
  • Submit TV and radio ads by deadline
  • Maintain web ads on team sites and coordinate development of landing pages
  • Assist with the creation of artwork for online advertising, digital initiatives and marketing signage
  • Assist with the development of marketing pieces to support Single Games, Retail, Youth Basketball and other departments as needed
  • Work closely with the Events department to execute ticket promotions
  • Produce reports to communicate marketing plans and results internally
  • Coordinate select marketing events to support organizational objectives and marketing campaigns
  • All other duties as assigned

What the Marketing Media Graduate Associate needs to have:

  • Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required.
  • Degree in marketing and/or sports management preferred.
  • 1-2 years of marketing or sports management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related computer skills required.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.

Relocation Information:

  • Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the Graduate Associate (Please note that while we have a hybrid work model, this does require you to live and work out of the Orlando, Florida area.)
  • Reliable transportation is also needed

Working Hours:

  • Office Hours - M-F, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Based on role determines in office and remote working by the manager
  • Most Associates work all game nights (44 home games + playoffs and finals) including weekends and holidays
