Description:
The New York Yankees are seeking a Player Development Technology Intern to join in our pursuit of a 28th
World Championship.
Responsibilities:
● Operate baseball-related technology at Player Development Complex for all games.
● Support Affiliate Video Assistant with Video/Tech Operations at Player Development Complex for
all games, Live BPs, bullpens, batting practice, fielding drills, strength/speed work, etc.
● Assist with ad-hoc projects for different Departments within the Baseball Operations Department
throughout the season.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience with baseball technology is preferred.
● Previous experience in a professional baseball clubhouse is preferred.
● Deep understanding of baseball rules and how to score a baseball game.
● Ability to accurately identify pitch types.
Expectations:
● Available to start working during Spring Training, and work through Instructs in the Fall.
● Available to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
● Available to carry heavy equipment trunk around stadiums/complexes to set up cameras and
additional technology
